Amy Page started Image Makers with a dream 10 years ago. That dream has become a reality in that Image Makers has become the premier salon/day-spa in the Tuscaloosa area. Blessed with a great staff, Amy is dedicated to serving all Image Makers clients with the most talented staff, highest quality products and a personal touch.

Image Makers is not just a salon, it is a whole body experience with the focus on each client’s satisfaction. The greatest compliment a salon can receive is watching a client leave with a burst of confidence and energy. We are interested in the success of each of our clients lives, and the right look and feel is an important part of that success. Amy demonstrates that commitment by continually updating Image Makers and staying in tune with the industry.

Lindsey Keasler is energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic are just a few words that describe Lindsey Keasler. From the front desk to behind the chair, Lindsey has grown with Image Makers for the past 3 years. Lindsey's main goal as a stylist is to exceed the expectations of her clientele. Thorough consultations, attending hair shows and seminars keeps Lindsey current and up to date with the latest trends. When asked what she enjoyed more, cut or color, Lindsey admitted she simply enjoyed the people.

Lea Ann Watts is understanding, fun-loving, vivacious, and caring are only a few words that describe Lea Ann Watts. Lea Ann has 9 years experience at Image Makers and 21 years total as a nail technician. She approaches her customers with a welcoming smile. With a strong desire to pamper her clients, she always makes them feel special. Lea Ann has a strong love for family and friends which is one reason it is so easy for her to embrace her clients. As a master cosmetologist, she specializes in acrylic nails, manicures, pedicures, and waxing.

Mavis Shirley and Lea Ann work together as a team using Tammy Taylor and Creative nail products. Together they share the belief " laughter cleanses the soul" and it is their desire to make you laugh.

Kimberley Carruth is passionately focused, encouraging and fun are a few words that have been used to describe Kimberly Carruth. Her focus as a stylist is YOU the Image Makers Salon guest. Kimberly says her goal is to make each guest feel refreshed and recharged inside and out.

Kimberly’s approach to each guest is simply discovery. Discovery includes: What works with your current style and what does not? What commitment or maintenance, in salon and at home, works best for you? This discovery process helps in customizing your personal image.

Kimberly is also a highly sought after educator in the Professional Salon Industry with Redken 5th Avenue NYC. As a Redken Artist, Kimberly appears in top Hair Shows and Seminars throughout the United States training other stylists in Hair Design (haircutting) and Color. Her work has appeared in Modern Salon and I Do for Brides Magazines.

Larry Kelley has more than 20 years experience in the beauty industry, Larry Kelley has witnessed the satisfaction of making people look and feel better about themselves and their appearance. His clients describe Larry as compassionate, caring, and possessing a great sense of humor.

Those in the medical field and cosmetologists are among the few professions licensed with the power to touch. Larry uses touch to assess hair strength, health and texture in order to integrate the wishes of the client with his knowledge of individual qualities of hair, facial structure and desired style or “look”. His goal is for all clients to feel satisfied about themselves and their appearance. His loyal customers are proof that goal is reached.

Larry and his wife Karen have a busy family life with their two daughters. They both grew up in Tuscaloosa and continue to make it their home.

Being in this profession for more than 14 years after studying at New York State, Debbi has trained with Beth and Carmin Minardi in New York, and Scott Cole and Linda Yodice(Hairstylists and Colorists of the Year 2004). Debbi (who is highly regarded for her work with color, styling and cutting) never slows down with her education. She has participated in “HairColor USA” over the years and is constantly attending workshops and taking advanced classes from California to New York to keep her hairstyling skill razor sharp.

Linda Tant has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. She is constantly continuing her education and has trained with Redken Global Artistic director in color design as well has attended seminars with the Redken exchange in advanced haircutting. Joy Underwood has 14 years experience in the hair industry and is driven to give her guests the best personal attention possible. Most importantly, Joy provides as excellent consultation to find out what the individual needs are of the client and discovering a fresh new look for them as well. She is a Redken haircolor specialist and has received professional training in advanced haircutting and design through attending industry renown seminars with the Redken 5th Avenue Exchange, the Yosh Show Team of San Francisco, CA and many, many others. She truly loves to design and color hair and looks forward to meeting new clients.

Madeline Dorman joined ImageMakers upon graduation from East Central Community College Costmetology School where she was trained in all areas of cosmetology including coloring, cutting, styling, perms and more. She has been described as creative, entergetic and loving. Madeline is a skilled professional and trained in the newest trends, innovative coloring techniques and great styles that provide the guest the ultimate satisfaction.
